Yoga Your Way is a remix of the traditional styles of yoga, customized to fit different wishes and needs of our urban lifestyle. Young and old, beginners and experienced people; Yoga Your Way is Accessible, Applicable and Affordable, and it brings us together, as a family.

Job Description

Central role
o Welcoming and guiding students in the studio and our offerings.
o Catch direct feedback and idea’s from students and teachers and communicate with the rest of the team: both about teachers, classes and the studio, so we can make things better!
o Spot issues and communicate immediately with Studio Manager & other hosts

Administrative
o Registrations and purchases of students in MindBody
o Making SURE all client and teacher accounts in MB make perfect sense = sign in, payments, alerts on personal issues
o Sometimes helping the Studio Manager with administrative work

Hospitality
o Making everybody feel comfortable like home: keep laughter and love for yoga alive in the space. Yagoy is the moment to lay back, not to stress and frown.
o Turn all the negative into the positive… yes! Exactly that. There is a smile that can be shared in any situation.
o Personal touch: making contact, eye contact, personal contact, hugs and smiles are free! Getting to know and introduce students to each other and to teachers, our community.
o Answering questions face to face, phone calls and emails.

Exposure role
o Communicating all Yagoy products in the most personal possible way. Connecting the dots and knowing which offering would fit which student best.
o Advising students on class, workshop or training related matters, sharing yoga inspiration and experiences.

Tidiness
o Making sure the studio and lounge always looks, smells and feels like home
o Swiffering the studio and rooms between classes

Lounge
o Making and serving coffee / tea / bakes in our Ayurvedic Lounge.

Your profile

– Representing Yagoy, you feel connected to our values and sharing them. A natural born host(ess) with a high standard in offering service, comfort, communication, hospitality, customer experience and keeping calm in busy situations.
– High level of people skills, asking questions, double checking and communicating.
– Precise in execution of tasks (because of our low margin for error) and good prioritizing skills.
– Flexible in shifting from task to task, staying efficient and keeping a clear overview
– You are very capable in operating autonomously but also fit well in teamwork
– Computer skills and experience that is required and will be taught and tested

Availability

Yagoy is looking for hosts who are able to cover different shifts, mornings, evenings and weekends. It’s important you are comfortable with working flexible shifts besides your set schedule. Covering for colleagues, working in the evening or during holidays is considered normal. A minimum availability of about 10 – 20 hours per week, spread out in 4 or more shifts, is required.

Office Manager Amsterdam (m/f)

Job Description

Central role
o Handling, forwarding, guiding and staying on top of all emails coming in at info@yagoy.nl & office@yagoy.nl
o Managing hosting crew schedule and coverage: making hosting at Yagoy run smooth
o Solving customer issues
o Making sure hosting crew is up to date on any changes (via weekupdate mails)
o Inventory management and household (cleaning and building issues)

Administrative
o Handling monthly invoices (in and outgoing) and payments and keeping the overview for bookkeeper
o Teacher trainings administration
o (digital) file management
o Making sure contracts for teachers and crew and the HR calendar is up to date

Your profile

Availability

Yagoy is looking for an office manager who is available to work 24 hours a week spread over 4 days, preferably every other day. You will also host a few classes during these hours to stay in touch with our community. It’s important you are comfortable with working in a start-up environment where we do almost everything in house.

General Lead Amsterdam (m/f) –

Job Description

The General Lead carries responsibility over the daily operations of both Yagoy studio’s in terms of quality, attention to detail, continuity and growth. The role requiers a high sense of responsibility, organizational excellence, innovative and out of box thinking regarding communication and utilization of available resources, and a sincere sense of care for people & their wellbeing. After a thorough hands-on training period, the General Lead will take over the role of the current Founder and CEO over the span of her 3/4 month sabbatical end of this year.

Central role
o Make sure the teaching schedule at both studio’s is executed the best way we can offer and and improved through feedback loops and layers.
o Communicate with students, teachers and hosts regarding daily operations and make sure we optimize processes.
o Take care of all admin related tasks and issues around Yagoy’s activities.
o Optimze the exposure of Yagoy’s offerings and activities. Both on- and offline.
o Solve operational issues strategically, and create new opportunities to serve yoga for more people in this process.

o Optimize schedule and subbing management, feedback loops
o Daily search for the best matching class type, teacher and time combination on each studio schedule and adjust accordingly in time
o Make sure that in case of illness/absence of teachers, the schedule remains uninterrupted.

Community & quality
o Improve yagoy’s function as one unit by connecting people, and help our service improve in every detailed aspect by keeping a helicopter view.
o Get to know our crew, our guests and potential new teachers and crew and partners, and connect thde dots intuitively.
o Keep communicating the intention that has brought Yagoy to live and why we do what we do.

Yagoy is looking for a General Lead on the base of 40 hours weekly. It’s important you are comfortable with working flexible hours besides your set schedule. Covering for colleagues, working in the evening or during holidays is considered normal. You will be fulfilling the role of the current founder/General Lead during her absence in the months of Oct-Jan. You ideally start on the 1st of August 2016.
